  : The facilities were great. The large pool had more than enough loungers for everyone.The rocks at the back of the hotel are wonderful for sea views and peace and quiet! There are plenty of chairs available! There's a lifeguard on duty during the day, for sea swimmers. There are usually plenty of towels available at the rocks and the pool.The piano bar is where people converge at night. They usually have a trio band on.Breakfast and evening meal are buffet. Waiting staff were always hard working and courteous. Outdoor seating is available. One evening, we had to wait 10 minutes for a table, as there was a queue, but this wasn't usual. Views are gorgeous! I'd requested a high up room and got the 1st floor! This was a superior seaview room. To be fair, the view was beautiful and unobstructed.The room was always very well maintained.Sunsets are incredible. Beautiful.
  : The location was at the top of a hill/approx 100 steps down to Cavtat. A golf buggy goes between the two, BUT it is not always available. When I informed reception that elderly people were waiting in the rain to be taken back up to the top, an abrupt receptionist said people with baggage were the priority, not them!Dinner wasn't always hot and the quality was not always that great. There were several hot food options. Some were very good, but mostly just normal hotel food, plenty of it, but not exceptional.Water was NOT provided at dinner, so you had to pay 4.50 for 750ml water! If you wanted a drink, you had to buy it. I took my own water. Drinks depended on who were making them. Bar staff could be very grumpy, but other times pleasant. Strawberry daiquiri at the pool was slush style, sometimes sweet, sometimes very bitter! At the main bar, it was not slush style.The mini bar was packed - with expensive drinks/snacks. I'd expect free mini bar for a 5*. Add it on to the bill before we book, but don't charge for it. Some pool guests made me think I was in Benidorm, but you can't blame the hotel for that. Escape to the rocks for peace.

  : Prices were high and when the hotel had seminars (they had several whilst we were there) the paying guests came second.
