  : We like Ibis Hotels, although fairly ordinary and formulaic, there's rarely anything to complain about. We've found them to be the most consistently good of the large chains, and so it was with Ibis Arcachon, but what really surprised us was the high standard of the attached restaurant, which was exceptional by any standard. We really enjoyed eating there, and the quality matched many more expensive restaurants. The food was simple but well prepared from quality ingredients. Breakfasts were also good, and the helpful and friendly staff were a notable asset. A special hello to cuisiniere Marco Petel, who sadly we were unable to meet on this occasion.
  : Not the hotel's fault, but it's well tucked away in a distant corner of an unremarkable housing estate, very difficult to find without a good GPS, and it's within earshot of a very busy road.

  : The group of cyclists really enjoyed their stay at the Ibis hotel. It has a more relaxed feel than other Ibis hotels, The hotel had a young "vibe" to it with surfboards etc in the lobby and young staff who were really helpful. We booked a meal in the hotel restaurant which was good value and the breakfast was well worth the money. The hotel staff sorted out a room for all our bikes to be stored over night.
