: I stayed at La Ferme Rose when cycling from London to Paris. What a find! The place is unique - a wonderfully atmospheric collection of old farm buildings in a hamlet called Boisemont only 40kms from Notre Dame. My accommodation of a kitchen/dining/sitting room plus 3 sleeping areas (for at least 8 people) on 2 floors was palatial. The welcome from Claire (born in England) and Yvon (a very resourceful Frenchman) was warm and helpful. A very good evening meal could be ordered ahead. The bike was under cover overnight
: Nothing really - though a minor comment on the food as I would have liked to have had green vegetables with the main dish and fruit and possibly eggs or a selection of cold meats/cheese with breakfast. Maybe when the house garden is in full production.........?

: The beautiful ancient buildings and setting, the hospitality from Clare the host, so near to Paris and yet in the country with nature walk close by.Excellent meal shared in the home felt very special
: Slightly stuffy(it was very hot day) and the only ventilation was door to outside which didn't particularly want to leave open all night, but didn't detract from great stay.

: Very large cool room, shared communal area with books and games. Offer of dinner ( at worthwhile extra cost - delicious!)
: Very steep stairs to accommodation (app 30, high steps, not easy for elderly or persons with hip, knee or back issues!
