  : The owner is very friendly and helpful, although he doesn't speak English. We had dinner on the property, a fantastic tomato and cucumber salad, olives, bread, and cheese. There is usually fish, but we asked for a vegetarian meal.

  : The host as a family are kind & helpful people. The father cooks delicious meals. Fresh fish accompanied by homemade fries & great big salad. Very sympathetic & unique location. Staying at Karuc was a lifetime experience.
  : Because the host doesnt speak any English, it was hard to communicate. The rooms interior felt too old, the biggest fault was the air condition not working.

  : The vilage Karu is a real hidden gem! We came by kayak from Rijeka Crnojevica (approx. 5h tour) and slept one night in Karu and I can recommend that to anyone who loves nature, water birds or just wants to try out kayaking (tour is perfect for beginners). The hostel itself is clean and the room big with a balcony.
  : The host does not speak a single word of english, thus communication was difficult. Also, the style and cleaningness of the room is nothing extraordinary, but we can still recommend.

  : The place was really quiet and by walking 500m you can get perfect overview. The owner of the house was really kind and helpful.The place has also near a bar that you can go for free by boat and the staff was really friendly.

  : The studios were really nice and clean, with a beautiful view over the lake/river. The host, Milan, was very hospitable and tried to make us very comfortable.
  : We didnt mind, but the location is very remote. Also its called an apartment, but dont expect a kitchen where you can cook your own meal. However, there is a nice tiny restaurant beneath the studios where they prepare delicious fresh fish and other local dishes for you.
