  : The stuff was friendly but nobody speaks English so it was really difficult and at the end unhelpful. our room was by the elevator so it was annoyingly loud in the morning and evening. The room was smelling every morning because of the kitchen and cooking. We couldnt change it because we couldnt speak with someone and complain about it. The toilet was new but the door from the shower wasnt closing properly so everything was under water after showering. In the end it was really overpriced only because it is near the Ardeche. Would have been better to check some of the camping spots near the river.

  : Great location, nice hotel, nice pool, nice bar area and pool table. Nice to have secure parking, staff were friendly although we could not speak French, they could not speak much if any English, only the owner but all very friendly.
  : The rooms are a bit too small, breakfast was fairly basic, could have more of a selection and bigger tables for a family of 5 + . They should supply free bottled water in the room, they should supply coffee and tea in the room. The bar area closed a bit early unfortunatley.

  : Swifts flew above the hotel in massive displays. But you got this everywhere in the village.
  : An unloved hotel, which was understaffed. The stair well was shabby sheek, without the sheek. Even the plastic flowers drooped. It was cold and unattractive. Our room only had paper cups to drink from which leaked during the night. No courtesy water, tea or coffee. To get a beverage we had to wait till 10am when the chef could make us one, which we had to pay for. The Shower leaked profusely into the bathroom and had done for ages by the marks in the grout tiled floor. The fake paper side to the pool was coming away in one corner, and flapped as we swam. Our first meeting with the owner was when she greeted us as we swam, she told us to not jump in, no hello's. They wouldn't let our sons join us in the pool who were staying else where, for insurance purposes (they were not propared to pay extra insurance to cover this). They wouldn't suggest any other places to eat. It was extremely expensive place to stay for what it had to offer. We were very disappointed. Next time we will stay at Rives d'Arc.

  : Owner has exemplary English, is ever present and will do anything to support your experience. Breakfast was very fairly priced with good quality ingredients. Swimming pool a pleasure, especially in the extreme (by UK standards) August heat. Room is simple, but excellent shower and immaculately clean.
  : Website needs a bit of an update (owner aware). Otherwise no issues at all. Any extra charges very transparent.
