  : Extremely unsatisfied with the service received with Booking.com, The 3b/3b SkyLoft with Navy Pier View Gym & Pool by ENVITAE apartment I booked thru booking.com was cancelled by the ENVITAE Property management just 4 hours before check-in saying some stupid excuse of bed bugs (only impacting that unit I booked), I suspect a clear fraud, they were so adamant and not ready to pickup call or listen to me, did not even gave me an alternate apartment saying they are full for weekend, go check with booking.com for alternate accommodation. I was left on the road by booking.com and Envitae Management, booking.com agent says he can book a similar property but booking.com would not pay the difference in price and it takes whatever time it takes to book the new accommodation. They sent me a link 3 hours after check in time asking me to book another accommodation with my own money which does not match in size, facilities, location and price compared to my original booking. I travelled with two young kids and two elderly parents and my trip was ruined by Envitae and booking.com, I felt frustrated and humiliated for troubling my family. I am working on lodging a formal complaint with concerned authorities against the fraudulent bookings performed by Envitae and booking.com exposing the fraud and ill treatment customers have to face booking accommodation with booking.com and how they throw their customers under the bus in the last minute. Till now not even a formal apology email from both booking.com and Envitae accepting their fault. If you have any self respect never book with ENVITAE and Booking.com, I wont.

  : We liked that it was close to Navy pier
  : There was only one room key/key fob and that makes it impossible to leave the room or get into the facilities or use the elevator unless everyone is together. The responder that opens the parking garage door didn’t work the whole time we were there and that was aggravating. We did speak to the manager Juan the night the night that we checked in and he was able to get us a key/key fob the day after we arrived. The apartment was clean for the most part. I did receive an email from the owner that I didn’t see until I had already checked out that asked us to clean up the apartment (load the dishwasher and take out the trash) and leave it as clean as possible and I feel like we shouldn’t have had to clean anything considering we were charged $179 cleaning fee when we booked the apartment. Check in isn’t until 4PM and you have to be checked out by 10AM or you will be charged. And another thing that we didn’t notice when we booked the apartment was that it only has one tv and that was in the living room.
