  : Lovely farmhouse with loads of space and some great features such as the log stove and a big kitchen / dining room with top-notch oven/cooker.
  : Very impersonal communication - the road was being dug up just outside the farm gate, which necessitated a 15 minute detour in the dark - why not forewarn us? We are OK with lists of dos & don'ts, but such nonsense as 'do not make contact with farm employees' and 'you may wave at the on-site building contractor' really do not feel very warm & welcoming. When you arrive at a property, a few little welcome items such as salt & pepper, soap in the bathrooms all seem very normal. Not here. Finally, the fittings - the floors, the doors, the oven, the stove...all feel very well-made and top of the range, yet the tablecloth was frankly revolting, and the cutlery that bent on spearing a sausage was clearly sourced from a discounter.

  : A stunning property situated in the countryside. Loads of space and excellent facilities. The owner was very friendly and responsive when contacted. A great jumping off point to nearby places - we particularly enjoyed visiting nearby Lacock! Would stay here again!
