  : Our 3 nights here coincided with a debs in the function room, each night of our stay. These were surprising un-intrusive noise wise but the vomit in the lift one morning could almost put you off your fried egg and sausage sandwich. On bathing our son after a swim in the pool, the water was turned off in the rooms to facilitate plumbing upgrades and we had to rinse him off with his bath water. We were told the water would be restored in an hour and waited to shower ourselves but after the hour had passed we were told it would be 2 more, wasting most of our afternoon. Despite it being no more than mid to late teens temperature wise, the room was like an oven at night with no air-con and only a portable fan to blow the hot air around. Alright if youre on a stags and full of porter but a nightmare to sleep when holidaying with your young family. To top it off, works were taking place to the hotel and corridors full of old semi gone off glue had to be negotiated from the pulled up carpets on journeys to and from the room. All in all, 600 quid not well spent and a trip to forget.
