  : The room was very nice, big and with light, bed very comfortable, everything very clean. The staff was incredibly helpful at accommodating my very late check in request. I had to be very early out for work meetings, and requested to have the "bussiness breakfast" deliveredy to my room, which they did, that was very helpful!
  : The wifi didn't work at all in my room. I was on a work trip, and wished there was a desk to work on the evenings if needed.

  : Lovely boutique hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff very kind and helpful. Location is great. Go to La Pizzaetta around the corner for great food.
  : Wifi was intermittent. Staff tried to reboot but still had occasional issues. Used my phone data mostly so not a dealbreaker.

  : The manager was very helpful, when we explained that we couldn't possibly sleep for 7 nights in a room that was so noisy. Our original room was at the front and the noise was unbearable and without air-conditioning the windows had to be opened. He immediately moved us to the rear of the hotel which was a bit quieter (and strangely, had air-conditioning as well). The manager also gave us free breakfast on the first morning, which was a nice gesture, although the 'vegetarian' only breakfast was not worth the 16 Euros each (especially as you could not help your-self and were restricted to two drinks!)The location to the centre of Cologne is good - a ten minute walk, and also close to tram-stops.
  : This is not a hotel, but a B&B - it offers no facilities in the evening, and in fact is rarely manned in the evening. 'Boutique' means using shabby furnishings and 'Ikea' type shelving units for storage/wardrobe which were woefully inadequate for our 7 night stay. Both the rooms we stayed in, smelt mouldy/stale, which we put down to the poor ventilation in the bathroom. This was also very expensive at 444 euros for some of the nights during our stay - that is more expensive that the Waldorf in London!. Clearly they were taking advantage of the Euros being in Cologne, but a 400% increase on normal price is excessive for the value offered. Also they tried to charge us for items from the mini-bar that we hadn't used, which was disappointing.
