  : The castle/villa is beautiful, but the best part of the experience is definitely the owner, Frederic, who is extremely friendly and who treats you as a sacred host. Food is also really good, dinner is not to be missed and breakfast is great. The castle has only one room, so you really have the experience of being a private guest.
  : We had only one problem, it was a cold day when we stayed there and the bathroom was really cold, as the heating there doesn't really works well.

  : The welcome and care of Frdric made our stay feel very special. We had good food in a peaceful location, and being in the only guestroom was ideal, especially during these unusual Covid-19 times.
  : It is an old castle, so it is natural that the plumbing is not perfect. So, guests should not expect to get hot water quickly in the shower. The toilet - which doesn't have a washbasin - is on the other side of the room, which is a little inconvenient during the night. Maybe a small, free-standing basin with a jug of water could be placed in the corner of the toilet to make this easier. However, these tiny, understandable points do not detract from a very happy stay.

  : We enjoyed our three day stay exploring the locality. The Chateau is in a small peaceful village with no services however Bar-le-Duc town is only 15 miles south. Our host was most accommodating however no English is spoken. The interior was quirky & was full of the type of character we were expecting. We neither asked for or were offered breakfast but this was not an issue for us. This is a private house so very little of the garden is available to enjoy however a small terrace with seating was available as well as secure parking for our classic car. Overall we had a pleasant & peaceful stay although the Chateau is probably better suited for a single night stop over due to the lack of local amenities.

  : very hospitable and welcoming host and very interesting to stay in the old chateau and hear from the owner about the history. food was lovely and after a long journey, very welcome.

  : property was kept locked by the manager-could not freely come and go. very dangerous and uncomfortable. Isolated in the country and very dark - no light at the entry to the property.

  : We really enjoyed our stay. The host is exceptional and devotes himself to entertaining you and explaining the history of the chateaux. Our room was vast and beautifully decorated, as is the whole chateaux. It's a bit out of the way so I'm not sure there was anywhere else to eat. That said, our meal in the chateaux was beautifully cooked, and served as is we were royalty! We paid 35 for a bottle of wine that was good but not special. That said I was given a free beer, and some free, very strong, and historical liqueur!We spent a very special night here and we'll remember it as being quite unique!
