  : Customer service with the manager of the hotel. We had a problem with our commode, especially on the second night. I was very sick Friday night with stomach bug Saturday night. We had low water pressure in our commode and it wouldn’t flush so we were on the third floor and had to go down constantly to use the bathroom on the first floor, I asked for the manager to call so we could have the room Comped for the second night since we were so inconvenienced being sick to have to go to the bathroom downstairs . I waited for her to call me back to discuss this and she didn’t call even though she was at the hotel and I had to call her and she said she would have to investigate that there was no record of a problem and I said well then you need to hire better people because I specifically talk to the girl at the front desk when leaving . Maintenance came twice on Saturday. We had to wait all day. We were told that they’d be there at five and it was 630 before he even came to the room and that didn’t help us during the day whatsoever to be able to use our commode. When He came the second time at 6:30 the flow became better .

  : The staff was nice and the room and building were very clean. I was able to print from the printer in the lobby. That really helped me out.
  : The hallways and lobby were not air conditioned. It was steamy and makes it smell a bit musty.

  : The front desk staff was very positive and very helpful--despite being somewhat slammed at the time I arrived. The rooms were very nice, clean, and had just about everything a traveler could want.
  : We had a fire alarm the morning that I was due to leave. It was loud, noisy, and interrupted my sleep. As far as I could determine, there was no fire emergency. Shortly after that, the lights and power went out, making it necessary to take the steps downstairs with luggage and briefcase. There didn't seem to be a plan for dealing with the emergency. When I asked the front desk guy how I could go about getting a copy of my receipt for the night's stay, he handed me a legal pad and I put my name and room number on it. That was on Wednesday of last week. By today (Monday), I still had not received that receipt. These were not big issues, but they were aggravating.
