  : Host friendly, informative and helpful. Host offers the use of various accommodation facilities such as lounge and kitchen areas. Great outdoor space.
  : Nothing to do with property. Some taxi companies have an issue with locating property even thou there is a large sign adjacent to road. Its a great location to visit in the daytime in dry, pleasant weather, for a wander around. Unfortunately our visit coincided with winter storm weather.

  : Basic, friendly, lovely location good value for money, reasonably good access to the NEC 25 minutes away
  : Room was only moderately warm so could have been turned up before arrival but in fairness its warmer in Sussex where I originated from, the door to the room was awkward at times to lock and heavy to close quietly as door spring was a little unforgiving but these are just niggles for the prices a great venue and stop over, in the summer it would be a great central position for exploring the area

  : The bedroom was large and spacious and the bed was so comfy. It was set in a gorgeous green space with rolling fields all around. Regina (the owner) was lovely and couldnt do enough to help. I was visiting my daughter at Warwick university and on the day I arrived she was moaning about the time we were due to eat (she was hungover and didnt want to wait!) - Regina told her to go into the breakfast room and help herself to whatever she wanted out of the fridge. Two ham and cheese wraps later, said daughter was much less hangry! This is clearly a property with huge potential and they are honest about the renovations that are taking place. Would definitely think about staying again - will contact Regina directly next time.
  : It was a little out of the way for quick trips to see my daughter - I was driving - but it was about 20 mins from the university.

  : The location was beautiful and it was an ideal spot out of town to be quiet, but close enough to drive to my conference.
  : Had to check myself in and get guided to my room via phonecall. Breakfast was included, but I couldn't find any staff in the morning so didn't get to eat before checking myself out. Interior walls leaked a lot of sound - could hear through to the next room and corridor very clearly.

  : Finding good places to stay outside Coventry centre is not easy and Coundon Lodge was a great find, fabulous location and lovely property in awesome grounds. Room was very clean. Reception from the owner Regina was very welcoming and friendly. Arrived early evening, I needed to visit the local shops and was not driving so Regina took me down, waited and drove me back. After I left, I realised I'd forgotten something in the room so Regina posted it back to my home. Friendly service beyond what you normally find. Thanks Regina!!

  : Feels like it is in the country not on the edge of a city. Lovely grounds and interesting building. Good value. Tommy was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
  : There is some way before it gets from a retirement home to a full country house hotel. The breakfast is a (generous) help yourself arrangement which is fine but we didnt know before we arrived. especially as we were invited to make ourselves toast or something the night before.

  : The bathroom was cold as there was no heater in there. Being close to the kitchen I heard people in there which led me to waking early.
