  : The staff at Cliff View were all very accommodating and welcoming, especially Lisa. The room was comfortable and the views were very nice. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

  : We did not have breakfast. Dinner was satisfactory and fairly priced. Room was clean and location was fine.
  : Squeaky bathroom door going in or out. Very annoying. Reported this when we departed.One bed of the twin beds squeaked whenever my husband moved at all. Also very annoying.

  : The Cliff View Inn is a hidden gem in the beautiful VA mountains! The beauty of the area alone is reason to go! But the friendly staff/owners/chefs/grounds keepers/family are reason to go back again and again!! The Inn far exceeded our expectations...especially for the price...the house/Inn and rooms are lovely with lots of charm. Sitting on the screened-in porch drinking coffee in the morning was SO peaceful. And you have to check out the #Brewhouse for dinner! It's right on the property. Good food. Good people. Good fun!
  : This is the hard part. There was SO MUCH that we liked! I guess being knit-picky...we would have liked the room to be a little cooler for sleeping. They need to work on signage...especially for first time visitors. It's hard to know where to go when you first arrive.

  : No breakfast was provided. Would have been nice since the nearest place to get food is a 15-20 minute drive.
  : Room could have had a chair that was more comfortable. Only place to sit was on the bed or on a hard rocking chair.

  : Very nice place with a family attitude. It was a bit chilly in the room and they turned the heating up when we asked for that. The river and the view are amazing. There is a trail nearby and in summer it is possible to fish and canoe even for inexperinget canoers. The restaurant works late and they have an equipped kitchen. Very remote and has a touch of serinety about it
