  : The chateau was exquisite in every way. The furnishings and rooms were beautiful and we felt privileged to stay in such a historic and special property and spacious grounds.
  : It was a shame no one was there to meet us on arrival and no message or instructions as to what to do. Our bedroom was not aired before we arrived and the breakfast juice was in a carton and the fruit was old and bruised. Attention to detail was lacking in the preparation of breakfast.

  : This is still a family owned property, so in effect an extremely grand B&B. It made my head spin thinking of what a challenge it must be to keep this vast property in order. In areas it was showing its considerable age, but this didn't detract from its charms. A very interesting (in a good way) place to stay.

  : Could use some attention in decoration and renovation. Breakfast was ok but I had better.

  : We stayed in the blue room. A magnificently decorated, spacious comfortable room with an en-suite bathroom. Lovely high ceilings, huge windows overlooking the beautiful grounds. Its hard to describe this place. Its not a hotel, its not exactly and bed and breakfast - its like being a personal guest of the family of owners. We were welcomed by the father of the owner, very friendly and easy check in. We were shown to our fabulous room and made it in time for a tour of the castle. Our tour guide was amazing. We were lucky to be the only people on the tour at 1730 so we had a completely personal and fluent English tour of the history of the chateaux and its owners over the years. The following morning we had a continental breakfast and strolled around the grounds. Theres a wonderful outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. The gardens are vast and the grounds so private and expansive. We would definitely recommend this as a unique and memorable stay in an historic French castle thats been in the loving care of this family for many generations. We were travelling as a couple but would definitely return with friends and our children.
