  : Cats, dogs, kids. Lots of noise. Grumpy staff. Every night people drinking and making noise right next to our bedroom until midnight. Couldnt sleep. Plus wedding party with live band 30 metres from our bedroom until 1am. Also couldnt order lunch. Way overpriced for 400 euros a night. Rip off. Terrible. Never again!

  : We stayed inside the hotel. . Our room was outdated, the shower head wasn't working properly. I can't say our bed was comfy. I think they haven't changed the pillows for years. A big shout out to the housekeeper lady. She was so friendly and helpful whenever we needed something for the room. She kept our room spotless even dough outdated old furniture. If you planning to stay in Layla avoid inside the hotel rooms and try to book bungalows that look nice from the outside. The Staff, waiters, and bartenders were too laid back and unprofessional. I have been to so many hotels, in the Caribbean, Europe, USA, and I have never witnessed hotel employees lying down, playing on their phones while the guests having breakfast, and waiting for fresh coffee and a buffet to fill up. I can easily say they are not from the hospitality industry. We had breakfast it didn't hit the spot, poor selection. That's why we didn't stay for dinner Before I booked the property I thought Layla was a Bali-style hotel from the pictures. however, it wasn't even close to our expectations. The hotel is stuffed with dirty, old, outdated, thrown-away furniture. I think the owner was confused about the meaning of antique and old furniture. Almost everything is old and dirty, including rusted gym equipment, a pool table. The pool area was nice and cozy, however, the chairs and pool lounges were stained. I don't understand how they can use it. Overall I wouldn't go back and I don't recommend to anyone.

  : Great breakfast, awesome garden and comfortable bed.
  : Bathroom was smelling awful. Even, smell came in to room. We couldnt sleep because of the smell. Receptionist lady didnt help a bit.

  : Stunningly beautiful gardens, and tastefully decorated. A really chilled out experience.
  : We went down for the breakfast on our first day. There was everything put out , but without any covers. It was off putting taking any food that you had to swat flies from. Fortunately we were happy not eating breakfast after that.
