  : It was clean. The welcome Prosecco was a nice touch. The breakfast was substantial and nicely cooked. The sheets were crisp and clean. There were plenty of towels. It was quiet. There was a fan in the room. The bed was a good size.
  : Having to lug cases up stairs as no liftThe soft furnishings need upgrading and a lick of paint wouldn’t go amiss. No shower cap, cotton wool or cotton buds. The location was a bit grim and daggy. There’s no view.

  : Great location with the harbour a minute or 2 walk away. Clean room and nicely fresh towels.Great shower/pressure.Comfort bed apart from the pillows.Nice touch on arrival eg water in the room and a free glass of Prosecco (not taken as not our kind of drink).Breakfast was good and served fresh and hot. Good selection of cold food/drinks.
  : Room 4 - Small double room - husband has a prosthetic leg which is removed at night, using crutches for moving about eg toilet. Space from the bed to the wall VERY minimum. Same for the size of the room. Mat sticking out from underneath the bed to the main floor - hazard. we tucked this away due to a risk.Window - used a coaster to prop this open. Pillows - nice and soft BUT you sink into them. Not a great night sleep.There was no lift. Stairs and turned to see further 4 steps leading to the room. We struggled all the way and struggled a bit due to my husband being disabled.No handrails in the shower. Sink is small (hand basin) my husband struggled, he eventually achieved his wash. Dog - paid £20 for the night and found no treats, dog bowl etc…we came from another 2 hotels this week and at a charge £10 - £12.50 per night, we are on a road trip and brought our own dog items, it would have been nice to see something for dog especially if being charged.There was however a dog bowl at the entrance by the bar. I queried the charge for the night on leaving. I was told £20 was for the dog. More than happy to pay. Future: Prices should be clear on the sites. Mirror on the wall - needs to be considered re height as I found I had to tip toe to view. - I used the bathroom mirror.We feel this is a B&B rather than a hotel. Told the doors are locked from 10pm (although a key given). So, this meant the bar was closed too. Sticky tables - the menu stuck and had to giggle as we tried to get it off.Such. Quiet place - you could hear a pin drop. It would be nice for the staff to interact more eg how’s breakfast, how’s the stay! We were however greeted on arrival. Happy to leave - Sorry for the negatives. Not for us although looks nice on website etc….

  : The food and breakfast were great, venison was perfectly cooked, my wife had the beet and goats cheese which was amazing also, not a fault at all, staff were good and really friendly.
  : Abit silly to say but the two pillows in the rooms were very soft and sunk straight to the mattress, like I said abit petty

  : Beautiful, small boutique hotel - we absolutely loved it from the moment we walked in. The main bar and dining area is so relaxing and stylish. We had a peaceful and very enjoyable stay. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly and gave us fantastic service. The car parking voucher was most appreciated. The wine and cocktail list was very good. Dartmouth is an absolutely beautiful place to stay.
  : Our evening meal was very good, but we felt somewhat overpriced. There was very poor drainage from our shower. Only two small things which did not take any of the enjoyment out of our stay.
