  : The grounds were beautiful and great facilities. Having an independent cinema on site was wonderful and I loved the White Hart Pub too.
  : It was dark when I arrived and there was no signage to the Hotel and it was very hard to find amidst the other buildings. The phone number didn't work and the messaging service via Booking dot com didn't work either. So I had to park up randomly and wander about to find someone.I love the old property but the interiors were modernised which felt strange...I imagine it's a cost issue as these old properties are ver expensive to maintain.Sadly there was a loud whistling noise all night from what I imagine we're pipeworks, I was room 42 , so perhaps other rooms are quieter. I was also disturbed outside my window by a leaf blower being used. So not a great night's sleep. The breakfast was gorgeous and as mentioned, loved the cinema and pub and grounds and went for a walk to the Deer Park the next day. It would be wise to smooth out the check in, lighting of the exterior entrance and signage for arrivals and perhaps think about soundproofing somehow.Generally really enjoyed the character of the place, especially still lit with Christmas lights and decor.
