  : Terrible smell of old cigarette smell in the room from years of smoking. Hotel acknowledged the issue but advised there was nothing they could do and provided room spray. Considering what we were paying this was unacceptable. My husbands father passed away unexpectedly and we had to cut our stay shorter. I approached the owner explaining the situation asking if we could swop for another time or be refunded. They were not at all happy to accommodate and showed absolutely no compassion or kindness for the situation. I checked the next day and they had rented the accommodation, although this was denied. This was high season and the island was fully booked, so there would have been no loss of income for the owner.

  : the apartment is big with a comfy living room and two big bedrooms. Clean and with all kitchen utilities you need for a short stay. Totally recommended!
  : the only comment I can make is the fact that there is no hair dryer in the bathroom, so take one with you if you need one.

  : Great location near the center of De Koog and the beach. The beds are comfortable. There is a parking place behind the apartments. Also the supermarkets are very close by. The hostess was very kind, check-in and check-out was very quick and easy in hotel Zeerust, opposite of the apartments.
  : The hosts contacted us that bed linen and towels were not included in the price, which was a bit of a surprise. It could be rented for an additional fee (12 euro per person), or you could bring your own.
