  : The property was very nice. The staff, when you had their attention, were very nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good ( except for the dietary issue... See below). The indoor pool was fabulous.
  : The room needed modernising: the shower was very old and had no pressure, the ceiling was from the 70's, the key to enter the room was very old fashioned ( a set of keys with a heavy metal object), lighting was deficient. I had requested no red meat for dinner, that is, no beef, pork or lamb, but I was still served veal for the main course with a very meaty jus. The rest of the meal was excellent, as was the wine selection. When we entered the restaurant and were seated in the bar area to await our dinner reservation, we waited more than half an hour without being served our pre dinner drink. Others around us had drinks, snacks etc. We had tried to get the attention of the waiting staff but to no avail. Finally, after the others were all seated and our dinner reservation time had passed, we physically approached a staff member and asked if we could go into dinner. Very strange! At dinner, we were promised bread which never came. We were never offered anything other than a 4 course meal when there were, apparently, other options.

  : The bed is incredibly comfortable and the location and interior is lovely. The spa area is amazing (but could do with a way to wash feet when coming in and out, perhaps provide slippers?). The food in the restaurant was wonderful and all the staff were attentive.
  : The wedding event taking place was incredibly loud and the music and bass rattled our windows until 00:30. I advise guests to check the event booking during their stay if they want peace and quiet. Such a shame, as otherwise a perfect stay.
