  : * We were so disappointed that we decided to leave earlier. Room was spacious but really cold - there was no regular heating in the room and for huge, two rooms space only one small radiator was provided. We asked second night for some additional one but it was not enough - we were started to get sick because of that. * we discussed with host that we will pay for additional dinner for two days. We arrived in the evening expecting to have dinner and host pointed me where kitchen and shop is located as we didn't arrange anything before. I tried to discuss it but dinner was not possible. We had to change our plans and grab a taxi to restaurant which is far away from the property - we read a lot of reviews about hosts hospitality but were not able to experience it* room is really poorly equipped - there are no night stands or power plugs (as far as I remember there are three outlets so with two used by radiators we were left with one)* property is located far from city center and you need to climb - take taxi for the first time and have address prepared in Armenian script

  : Comfy room (free upgrade) with nice simple decor. Thoughtful tea corner in the room with kettle, plates and utensils. Big table for work. Great mattress and pillows. Very good communication. Hope to come back soon!

  : The couple running the guesthouse are extraordinarily warm and welcoming!The place is clean and comfortable and the breakfast rich and tasty.Way beyond my expectations!

  : This was a perfect place to stay for our group of seven. It is very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped -- for example, we appreciated being able to do some laundry and dry it on the terrace. We received a warm welcome from the hosts, who live in the same building. Alaverdi is a good base to explore the Debed Canyon, though extensive roadworks around the town made it a little difficult to get around while we were there.

The hospitality of the owners and breakfast (included) are the principal strength of this guest house: surely the best value for money in Alaverdi.Staff speaks english. Size of room (and bathroom) is right and everything is clean.- Great hospitality of owners- Good breakfast (included)- Free Wi-fi- Free coffee and tea
