: Good location, big rooms, and very friendly staff. They have re done the room I was in and it was very clean, new bathroom. Breakfast is simple but what they offer is tasty. Big bed as well

: The owners were warm and welcoming, and gave me tips for touring the area. The room was large and well-heated, even at the peak of winter. My room had a big balcony overlooking snow covered fields and mountains. The hotel's restaurant is fabulous - serving delicious Italian and traditional dishes, cooked by the wonderful lady who co-runs the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was good, though I enjoyed the lunch and dinner better. They even gave me a complimentary Christmas cake, which was wonderful. The location is right opposite the train station which is very convenient to catch early morning trains and one can walk to the Benedictine monastery and around the village.
: The shower room doors are a bit inconvenient to shut, it also would be nice to have a hook or towel rack in the bathroom (it is there in the adjoining toilet which is separate).
