  : Inside room, no windows, small, yet adequate, furnace/heater was tricky to operate, needed staff to show us how to operate it, once we figured it out... it worked just fine.
  : King size bed rather than Queen, a window rather than inside.

  : A fabulous iconic hotel centrally located next to the station. Beautifully furnished. Our room was very comfortable and the air conditioning unit effective and quiet. Bed comfortable and WiFi good. Free coffee/tea available on landings and reception as it is not in the bedrooms (not always full and hot).. Excellent quality coffee.
  : It should be clear from the booking details that some bedrooms are 'internal' with no window. This was very odd as we like a window to provide fresh air, and would not have booked had we been aware. Our room 208 was located next to the elevator shaft, which caused some noise, but not as much as noise from other rooms around us and the corridor outside our door. Obviously, soundproofing was not good in this old building, a shame because it's quite expensive, and spoilt our overall experience. Light also poured into our room at night from the corridor.The breakfast lacked choice and was repetitive. It's the easiest meal of the day to get right! There was also only a very small seating area too.

  : Great location. Nice house staff. Liked the cookies.
  : Carpet in our room soiled or badly stained. Amenities price was never disclosed. We thought breakfast, parking and in room tea/ coffee were complimentary. A few days after our stay I called and was able to speak to the manager who went ahead and credited my card.

  : Beds were very comfortable and the location was good.
  : Only two places to sit, a chair and a couch. while these look nice. They are not comfortable at all. I have a bad back and there simply was no place to sit comfortably in this room. Also, went out on the balcony early in the morning to find a homeless person sleeping on the patio / deck. Not a comfortable experience.

  : The staff were all very pleasant. The ambience and furnishings were lovely.
  : An unexpected "amenity" fee of $15 per night for the breakfast and coffee stations! The booking was listed as "including breakfast" Breakfast was continental with nothing my diabetic husband could eat so even after paying the mandatory amenity fee, we went out for breakfast each day anyway.
