  : Property had no minimum facilities. For 4 star hotel not to have even toilet cleaner, water, coffee, slippers and so on. There were rooms located line you are in basement with half window. The hotel is not very cheap not to have facilities like this. And also can’t say that the room was very clean, even sheets were very old, not very clean and a little torn.

  : For our trip to Edinburgh it was a bit of a struggle to find a place that was both well located and affordable. The YOTEL Edinburgh ticked those boxes for us and we found the location well within walking distance to the main attractions around the city. The rooms were nothing special for a budget hotel but certainly met our requirements. Beds were comfortable and shower was fine (even though it did leak over the floor). There was an added bonus of a bar area which was a perfect meeting point if visiting with friends.
  : My negative was that it was something of a hike to the car park that the hotel had an association with. If you do have a car I would suggest you drop luggage off at the front of the hotel and then park the car. Not an ideal situation if you are travelling alone or have concerns with leaving your luggage in the lobby area unattended. Just factor this in if walking a distance is a problem. Personally would return if I had the luck to be able to return to Edinburgh.
