  : The room was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the iron and board, along with the shampoo conditioner and body gel.
  : The curb appeal of this hotel was pretty poor, not the safest location. We were happy to find the inside of our room so much better.

  : Not on the property itself, but the breakfast left much to desire. And the TVs seem to be on some kind of timer that interrupted a movie we were watching twice.

  : At least there was a place to park. Staff was also very friendly.
  : Dirty outside and not fantastic inside. There was a spilled drink glass right in front of the door to my room, not cleaned up for the entire 14 or so hours I stayed there. Even the ice machine is under lock and key. NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS and signs about taking a security deposit displayed prominently at front desk give you a feeling that the area is in decay. Breakfast was VERY SAD... you can't even say that counts as breakfast. A few sad pieces of bread, a toaster, some cereal, and a bowl full of oranges is all you get. El Cajon is not a place to stay to avoid the prices closer to the coast... the town is run-down, there's not much good there, overall a dismal setting. People in noisy vehicles using the street at night pretending they're cool.
