: Price was okay compared to others in the area. Nice location and good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful
: Owner not at all welcoming and no interest in resolving a serious issue with the tv in our room. Told twice, but cursory check by a member of staff did not resolve the issue All areas seen appear old and looks tired, needs money and some care to make it acceptable compared to other guesthouses in ElyNo external.lights left on so access was trickyLighting on stairs was difficult to see so possible hazardSmoke detector in room flashed green light almost constantly and was visible from the bed affecting sleep. Could be moved to nearer entry door by toilet.I am unlikely to return having experienced much better service elsewhere in Ely

: Clean comfortable beds. Hot water. Friendly helpful staff. The staff we came into contact with were lovely. Especially the waitress at breakfast. She was doing her best and offered us everything possible..more toast/coffee etc... lovely and polite.
: Really needs updating.Breakfast obviously in part precooked and reheated .. not very well either...egg undercooked (we've all had a 'snotty egg'... I don't mind soft yoke but ..not ectoplasm!.... Sausage warm outside and cold in middle. Rest Luke warm. Not pleasant! I left most as I felt it unsafe to eat and didn't mention this as it would likely just have been furthur reheated also we were needing to get away Reception smelt of weed?! IF on booking out we were asked 'how our stay was' (as you'd expect)...Then valuable feedback would lead the way to improvement. This didn't happen.

Wonderful

: Nice room, great location for walking to city centre. Lively breakfast, friendly staff.
: No outside lights working so driveway when walking back at night was pitch black. Also landing light on 1st floor leading to stairs and our room not working so quite dangerous. Someone may trip on the stairs.
