  : Restaurant floor staff appear to be new or in training, not aware of their surroundings. They were not as welcoming as other hotel staff. Restaurant food for evening meal was overcooked. There are a lot of breakfast options, but the quality of food and service was just ok

  : Hotel location is so central to so many lovely areas in Clare.5minute drive to Lahinch so you are at a lovely beach for swimming,surfing or coastal walk.Also a lovely river walk from hotel to centre of Ennistymon Town where there are really lovely small coffee shops with delicious home baking.Hotel food really goodLovely spa area.Had a manicure and it was excellent

  : On the last night of my stay I experienced a medical emergency and was rushed to hospital for 2 nights (Sun and Mon). My bags were already packed, and I notified the hotel immediately. I then returned to the hotel for 2 nights (Tue and Wed) to recover and paid in advance. On Wed afternoon, the hotel manager called me while I was resting in my room and told me to either leave the hotel now or pay a third night (I had already paid for 2 nights, and did not plan to stay for a third). I found him to be rude and insensitive to the fact that I was recovering from a life-threatening medical emergency. He also charged me for Sun and Mon, even though the room was empty and bags packed, which couldve just been moved to storage while I was in hospital. It all felt rather ruthless and insensitive. I asked twice to receive a copy of the hotel complaints policy (as there had also been an issue the previous week re the managers communication style), but they would not share this with me.
