  : Room was dirty, the cups and tea spoon had been used and not washed. the bath was dirty,and slimy which made it slippery, there was mould and bodyfat around the edge of the bath and shower door. The carpet was stained, the pillows were hard and lumpy. One of the lights in the room did not work. Complained at reception and was promised the room would be cleaned which never happened.

  : No restaurant despite being advertised. Crap bar, uninterested staff. Very tired decor, slightly mouldy bathroom, crap water pressure.

  : Very worn dilapidated hotel was not a 3 star! Arriving in the car park had no lighting, very dark and had to use a torch to see where you were walking. Reception and bar area looked battered with thread bare carpets, chunks missing out of wood frame, door panels kicked through as you walked to the room along with wiring hanging off walls. Room was not clean, bathroom had very bad mold around Bath and ceiling. Bed frame broken, broken hangers all at the bottom of the wardrobe, so couldnt hang coat or clothes. Bedside draw had left over tobacco and papers, the room stank of smoke so did the hotel as you walked through.Fire alarm went off in the hour we were there and we were told it was a false alarm, chair placed by fire exit door partially blocking i would question the fire regulations at this hotel. This topped it off and we left the hotel as we didnt feel safe to stay. We called booking.com and we were told they were not responsible for the advertising or conditions of accommodation they advertise, they use pictures from the hotels website which i would say are definitely 15 years out of date and scary that booking.com do not check hotels they promote or sell on their website? The hotel has 24 hours to deal with your complaint and respond to booking.com. After leaving the hotel within an hour of our arrival, having to find further find accommodation at this late time of night. 24 hours later we were offered 9 to placed in a booking.com wallet. Booking.com have responsibility and duty of care. All the above will be reported to the competition and markets authority along with the local authority and Fire authority.
