  : We had two large (separate) rooms, each with balcony. Beds, armchairs etc were very comfortable and we had more than enough space. Good (but limited) parking facilities in the underground car park and in front of the hotel. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The food was good, staff mainly friendly. The room and hotel were very clean. The hotel also has a very nice and large park and many places to sit outside. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool very much and also the squash facilities.
  : Unfortunately, the two rooms where we stayed had no air condition and no WLAN. The parking facilities in the underground car park are not very spacious.

  : (Most of) staff was friendly
  : Parking garage was full and we came with an expensive car. We were requested to park on the street. Afterwards we were called because a slot had become available but the slot was actually too small for the car. Very annoying situation. Breakfast was a lot of pre-prepared items and the rolls were from the day before! The waiter even admitted this, stating delivery problems. For 180€ per night we would have expected much better. Also a towel was missing and bathing gowns were only available for €7 additional charge. Again, at a 4**** hotel I think one can expect a much better treatment and facilities. The hotel is not taken care of well. Missing leadership and attention to detail.

  : Liked the setup of the room and the garden view.
  : The layout of the pool and sauna area was confusing. I was expecting a hot jacuzzi per the description on Booking.com but maybe I either misunderstood or assumed it was included under pool. There wasn't one, so I was bummed. You have to be naked in the sauna so I didn't like that. There was only one other naked man at 10pm at night and it's in the basement so it was a little scary for me to also need to be naked and showing side by side in that kind of a situation. So I left when I felt uncomfortable.I arrived late the night before but the next day breakfast ended at 10am and checkout is at 11am, both of which are very early. Definitely didn't like that. Wasn't clear that internet was provided by Telekom and there was no signal in my room - since the card they hand out states that internet is in the lobby. Staff was nice enough to provide some leftover breakfast for me when I was late for breakfast - thinking that it woulf be available until 11am.It is a walking ways away from public transit but is right by the lake with a short walk so there are pros and cons there if you don't have a car.

  : I liked the friendlieness of the staff, the cleanliness and especially the pool.
  : In my opinion the Geschäftsführer was not as polite as I would expect the manager of a facility like this to be. The staff was in my opinion, far more friendly and had a much more pleasant manner than their boss. I wish the Geschäftsführer was as friendly as his employees. He is the only reason why I don´t ever want to stay at this hotel again. My husband Stefan Meerwald booked the stay for me. The review is therefore coming from me Marlis Meerwald.
