  : The seclusion was great. The stream nearby was nice to listen to. The house was wonderful, well stocked with everything we needed. I loved being in the hot tub at night and looking at the stars. If you want to get away to total seclusion, peace and quiet, Whispering Falls is awesome. All the people we met were very nice.
  : My GPS had the location wrong and we got there at night, which was a mistake. It took us a qhile to find the cabin. The road leading down to the house is gravel and very steep. I would advise a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Come in the daylight the first time because the road is scary in the dark. I recommend traveling to Blowing Rock which is 45 minutes away, and some of the road to get there is not paved. So go in good weather.
