  : Although the room/suite was old-fashioned (not in the cute Victoriana way the rest of the town is), it was very clean and functional. The kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped, the bed was one of the most comfortable that I have slept in on my trip up the west coast, and the shower was good. Having experienced some awful grab and go breakfasts, we were really pleasantly surprised by the croissant, yoghurt, cheese, jam and fruit in this breakfast box. The place is managed by the Victorian Hotel, which is in the next block. The staff throughout the hotel are very friendly, helpful and efficient - they really made our stay.
  : If youre looking for a more quaint Victorian experience, pay the extra and stay in the big hotel.
