  : It is in the city center, next to the castle. So everything is nearby.

  : Another unpleasant fact was that when I booked the room through booking it said that breakfast could be paid separately upon arrival at the hotel, and when I arrived at the hotel this possibility did not exist and they told me that they did not serve breakfast but that I could easily have it my coffee in a random bar on the corner of the block. Hotel is located next to Ferrara Castle and all services are very close by.
  : Hotel without its own identity, it is located in the old premises of the Mercuri Hotel, outside the name of the Ferrara Hotel, but inside the hotel, like the corridor and rooms, notices and other things with the name of the Mercuri Hotel are still hanging on the walls. Another unpleasant fact was that when I booked the room through booking it said that breakfast could be paid separately upon arrival at the hotel, and when I arrived at the hotel this possibility did not exist and they told me that they did not serve breakfast but that I could easily have it my coffee in a random bar on the corner of the block. Arriving at the room, there was a closed door next to my closet that gave access to other guests' rooms next to mine, a factor that makes sleeping in a room with 2 access doors extremely insecure, one of which you don't have a key for. Coming down to the entrance hall in the morning we came across a room full of guests having breakfast and when I asked if I could have the coffee even for payment they refused to let me have the coffee saying that the coffee was only served to customers who I had already booked the room with breakfast in advance. Apart from that, the hotel is very central and has clean rooms but with breakfast service among other details that leave one wanting to not return to the same hotel a second time.

  : Good size room in an excellent location.
  : Extremely slow internet connection that often dropped out completely. Spa bathtub that didnt work and had mould spots at the seams. Expensive given the quality of the room and the level of service.

  : The location was good but that is the only positive thing to tell about this hotel.
  : The service was very bad. There were several deficiencies in the room (no hangers for my clothes, broken telephone, door was damaged etc. Not very exciting problems and when I asked for more hangers or if they could repair the phone (just swap out) they told me that they would. I had to ask however 3 more times for some of it and after the 3rd day they offered me to change the room because of hangers and a phone!! Also occasionally the room/bed had not been made. Their proposed solution: change the room (not what I wanted). When confronting the manager in a nice way (no other guests and polite question) he told me bluntly that he did not want to discuss with me and told me to go away!!! I have never been treated so rude as in this hotel!! Also my colleagues rated this hotel very badly (Independently) because of their experiences. (hard beds, bad breakfast etc) and our organisation will not advise/support this hotel again.
