: Lovely old property in the hills above Florence.The staff were lovely, the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was generous. There is an amazing walk down the hill to the city however, if walking is not your thing there is a shuttle bus that is very convenient.
: Nothing not to like.

: We liked the location as the villa is high up in an elegant neighbourhood and has excellent views of the Tuscan landscape. The villa is very attractive in itself but our room in the annexe (not made clear to us in advance) was fairly ordinary given the price. The free shuttle was very useful (used twice) as a steep descent into the city and climb back up - not for the faint-hearted. The breakfast was bounteous. Parking was good and safe.
: We were very disappointed with the dinner experience as the dining room lacked ambiance and style (too harsh lighting and waiting staff communicating through earpieces like bodyguards). Our chosen dishes were unappetising - not recommended as also very expensive.

: The grounds were lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially those in the dining area and reception.Breakfast was fantastic! Lots of optionsThe room was spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable.
: The shuttle doesn't get you very far. It would also be great if they had an easier way for travelers who rely on free wifi to get in touch to schedule the shuttle from off site. It also is a bit confusing/misleading to have an airport shuttle listed in amenities when it's more of an outside service that they call and not their own that they manage. It was an amenity that was high up on my must haves list and it was disappointing to be told they did not have one.
