  : it was near the Ford Center.
  : inconvenient and expensive parking, valet offered for an additional cost, yet no bellman to help with your things…you park around the corner in a parking garage, so it would be nice for the staff to warn you to unload your things and take them up. Our ac in our room wasn’t working properly. At checkin our room said it was 71 and we kicked it down….hours later it was warmer instead of cooler and we were miserable. Nobody was available to come look at it, and even though there were two staff at the front desk, neither of them were knowledgeable about the thermostat enough to make sure we hadn’t pushed a wrong button. Instead they offered to move us to a room near ours. However none were available. So we moved rooms and toted all of our things, again, up four floors. Your room key is required to get in and out of the parking garage, and after switching rooms our new keys wouldn’t open the garage. luckily I had my old one, but I had to keep up with two separate keys. otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get out of the parking garage and would have been late to my event. Also, for such a “nice place” a complimentary light breakfast should definitely be included. The only good thing about this place was the convenience to our venue, but in the end it wasn’t worth it. I would have rather driven further for a more pleasant experience. Especially since we were celebrating a special occasion.
