  : It was fine for a one night stay over. The room was clean and generally pleasant, there was a water boiler and tea, which I much appreciated, and even a little balcony which helped open up the small room. The location was walkable to the hub of the town, services, and attractions. There was a lovely water view out the window.
  : The bed was not comfortable and what made it worse were the awful sheets. They were not great quality to begin with and were rather old; so heavily pilled it was like sleeping on sand. Also the pillow shams. I never trust pillow shams, so this is completely subjective, I even take my own pillowcase because I don't trust the pillow shams are regularly washed. They may be! There's no way to know, and my preference is pillowcases because they seem more sanitary. There was an unpleasant smell in the loo, which was possibly from the water source and unable to be helped. I understand that happens sometimes, particularly if they're on septic or well water; I don't know if that was the case here. Often there's a note to explain that type of thing and there wasn't any mention of it, so we weren't sure. The road right outside was very noisy all night, heavily traveled and that was unexpected. Again, couldn't have been helped, we just aren't used to that type of noise, as we live in the country. I didn't appreciate paying for parking. It's a private lot, presumably dedicated to the residents only, and is small and unwieldy. It was surprising to discover we had to pay over 15 euro to park one night.

  : The location is really near the city centre and overlooks a Lough. But while set back it is near a busy main road with traffic going to the quay. So the location is excellent in some ways but the busy main road was not good.

  : The water in the shower never got hot and the water pressure was so low it was almost impossible to rinse off in the shower.
