  : Staff were exeptional, couldnt do enough for you. Room was clean and the hotel grounds (courtyard) was nice. Menu Food was also nice(although some local deserts on the menu would have been nice). Daily Nightime music (20:00-23:00) was also very good, however as the rooms had zero soundproofing, if you were on business, rather than leisure, it would be impossible to sleep before 23:00.
  : Smoking is permitted throughout the hotel, which made it impossible to eat, drink or relax without being surrounded by the stench of 2nd hand smoke.other than staying in your roomLocation was in the middle of Izmirs bazaar so beware you will walk through the fishmarket from one side of the hotel

  : The man in the reception when I arrived was very inappropriate in his comments to me, to the extent to offer to stay with me. It was really unpleasant.The day after, another guy in the reception got me a taxi driver who didn't have a credit card option, besides me telling him I needed a credit card option. The taxi driver got upset when I didn't take the ride with me and even got physical, not letting me take any other taxi. It was a nightmare. Awful service. I will never stay there again and I won't recommend it to anyone.

  : The Agora is a great hotel based in the middle of a busy bazaar just about 10 minutes walk from the clocktower. It is a unique hotel because it appeals to locals as well as tourists thanks to its great restaurant. There is live music every night and most afternoons, and together with its great quality and value food makes it an easy place to be based. The staff are without doubt the friendliest and most attentive we have seen in a small hotel like this. All credit to the owner and the staff who commit to making you feel special whatever you need. Thank you all.

  : The location. Its the only hotel located in the Old Town
  : The breakfast was pathetic.The noise from the live music within the restaurant was audible from our room. The music did not finish until 2230 hrs

  : Beautiful, traditional architecture, and a great location. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious! It was immediately next-door to an old market, which was still quite busy and lively. It was also conveniently located to the Ancient Smyrna site.
  : I wish I had known that they have live music in the courtyard until 11 PM every evening. Every room faces the courtyard and so the music was quite loud in our room until 11. The music was beautiful and in other circumstances I wouldve enjoyed it! But we had just arrived after traveling all night long, and so we were desperately wanting sleep.
