  : The view from our room was beautiful.
  : Customer service My experience when I arrived and left the hotel was bad and almost bizarre. When I arrived there was a brief "good morning" and I was quickly informed I must pay city tax for each night. I then informed the member of staff that my partner was arriving soon to which he responded that the room is only booked for one person and I should pay for two. I thought I had booked it for two so I double checked my emails - whilst I was checking my emails he said "it's definitely 1 person, I can see it here" and then picked the entire PC up and put on the desk and turned it round to me and said "here, 1 person". On the morning of leaving I approached the desk and there was no "how was your stay?" or "I hope you enjoyed your time with us". The first thing I was told was "I can see there is a charge on your account - 36 francs - ah yes, for the laundry". The issue was not about the money - of course you have to pay for things - it was that the service made it feel as though the money was the only thing they cared about, rather than caring about us as visitors and our stay there. Even in regard to the shuttle service from the hotel to the airport - I inquired about it and I was told immediately "it's only available at certain times, otherwise you have to take a taxi". I told the member of my staff my flight time and he informed me that my flight was too early and I would have to take a taxi. Again, I understand that is the policy which is fine, but the delivery of all of these things made it feel as though they were eager to take as much money as possible whilst providing as little service as possible. Value This did not look and feel like a 4 star hotel. The decor a bit run down (not like the pictures) and the room and bathroom was small and looked very baisc. We did not have normal items such as an iron.
