  : the mat at the entrance door was disgusting, covered with dirt and cigarette butts. Others were also in terrible shape. When I told the staff they said that they have meade several requests to replace it but that the owner doesn't think it's necessary. Our rom wasn't cleaned the last night we were there although we sat in lobby for hours waiting for t to be done. You could smell smoke in the hallways.

  : Front desk staff was not helpful. Attempted to check in early at 12:30a. Was told to come back closer to 3pm (normal check in time) which is reasonable. Arrived at 2:45p. Room was not ready and was told to come back at 3:45p. Arrived at 3:45p. Room not ready and was told it would may be another 20mins. Came back at 4:20p and room still was not ready. I then waited an additional hour in the lobby for our room to be ready. Many other people able to check in before us. I understand they were short staffed, however better communication would have been helpful in the situation, and potentially making it a priority to clean the room that guests were waiting for. Then when we got to our room and the bathroom was not well cleaned. However, I did not report this. We needed to get ready and head to the concert.
