  : A lovely cottage, well equipped, with local amenities on the doorstep. Within easy travelling distance of the lakes and stunning scenery.

  : Superb layout of rooms. The living room furniture was very comfortable and we loved the wood burner. The beds were lovely, fresh and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with clean toilet, sink, bath and shower.
  : After locating the key safe we were greeted by a white UPC door that was very dirty - not a good start. On the whole the kitchen looked clean but on inspection pans were dirty, the floor was dusty and the freezer section was frosted up. The oven was very dirty and of us four no one could work out how to operate it. The living room, utility and all the upstairs rooms had very dusty floors and some furniture was dusty too. Outside the back door, window ledges etc were very dirty and the garden would benefit from a good gardener. What could be a lovely cosy break away from home is spoiled by lack of attention to detail. The garden would be beautiful with a little regular work.

  : Comfortable, good size, outside space a bonus. Lovely location generally quiet, some occasional noise outside but nothing that disturbed us
  : Garden furniture/ cushions needed looking after a bit better to get the benefit of using them. Oven was difficult to use, it was a guessing game to figure out what the settings are not ideal when trying to sort food out.

  : Fabulous accommodation, well equipped with everything we needed and more. Very well kept, nice decoration, large dog crate was useful as was garden. Shower was great! Log burner a nice luxury. Parking right outside. Pub next door great & friendly Chippy/Chinese lovely!
  : Only real issue we had was could have been a little cleaner. Nothing major, dusty/cobwebs and bits on kitchen floor. Hooks for towels in bathroom would be good addition. Only 6 hangers in the whole place, not enough!Double bedroom would benefit from a wardrobe in addition to the small cupboard. None of this would put us off staying again.

  : Village centre close to all shops and pub. Cottage well equipped and enclosed garden perfect for dog. Modern TV with Netflix, and good Wi-Fi.
  : Freezer needed defrosting, and there was some noise on the Friday night from neighbours. Main bedroom TV remote didn't work. These were minor niggles.
