Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : Update of review due to issues with erroneous credit card charges, and issues to communicate with property management (see details in section "What didn't you like"). XXXXX Great location close to the city center with cafes and restaurants close by. Very quiet due to being located on the back of the building and being on the top floor. Large place suitable for a group of up to 6 people. Well equipped kitchen, and bathroom with a washing machine. Contactless check-in.
  : A few days after my stay I noticed on my credit card statement that the property charged the deposit of EUR 250 twice, once before arrival and once again after departure, hence a total of EUR 500. The first deposit has been meanwhile refunded, while the second erroneously charged deposit has still not be refunded. Unfortunately the property management does answer calls on the phone number provided, so the only option of communicating with the property management seems to be via the booking.com messaging service, which I do not consider satisfying in case of urgent problems. XXXXX Pre check-in communication a bit confusing due to duplicate messages. Property description fails to mention that there is no elevator in the building which could be an issue for guests with walking difficulties or families with small children - however was not an issue for our group of 4 adults. Main drawback was the bathtub/shower arrangement which makes having a shower somewhat cumbersome.

  : Very spacious apartment in an excellent location. Great facilities to be able to cook, and relaxing to have a large amount of space in the centre of the old town.
  : We had some problems with the wifi dropping in and out. There was a coffee machine but no pods were supplied, and it would be handy to have a tea towel or something in the kitchen.

  : Good location and nicely decorated
  : We booked this apartment for 5 people - and paid for 5 as well. However when we came not only was the sofa bed not made, there was absolutely no bedding for it either. We messaged the property and didn't get a reponse AT ALL. I slept on a towel covered in jackets. When we opened the sofa bed the mattress was disgusting - heavily stained all over and hairs everywhere... Also note that this apartment is on the 5th floor with only janky old stairs so thank god we were all fit young people. The kitchen had one small frying pan and two huge pots (like 5L) so idk if you could really use it.

  : location was good. The apartment was clean.
  : On booking the Penthouse we had been showed photos of a different apartment to what we got. The booking confirmation claimed to have extra beds as well as a balcony. The apartment we got did not have any of this. We called and had to send photos of our booking to prove what we had been offered. They offered a 15% discount on the booking but have since not responded to any calls or messages regarding this. I would check other reviews regarding this as i think they are well versed in ignoring requests from guests and misleading them regarding refunds and fees. This review could be very good for the stay but when you arrive with a large group and the apartment cant hold them all as promised it is unacceptable. People had to sleep on the floor and in a variety of uncomfortable places. 15% refund was offered but i am beginning to think this was never going to be honoured. I think booking.com would be wise to check this client and make sure they are following rules for misleading guests.
