  : Covid-impacted breakfast. Delicious homemade scones however baked goods got cold (it was early October) and seating was chilly as we had to get coffee & pastries in their outside patio because we couldn't sit inside their reception area due to Covid. Owners were very helpful & accomodating to our needs / requests

  : Jenny was super lovely, really helpful on local knowledge. The outside grounds were fantastic, lovely seating area, fire pit (although one group hogged it every morning/night) and the gardens were stunning - all the flowers were in bloom - amazing. Nice pool and pool area but you are right next to the road - a main road so it is super noisy! No relaxing sleep by the pool!The breakfasts are good but it is the same every day - we were there a week so it got a bit tiresome and the famous granola is no longer being made :(Great location for Redwoods, Fort Ross, lots of hiking options in the area (all levels), wineries and out to the coast.
  : The actual cottage we stayed in is really dated and old on the inside, very dark and we were unaware that the shower was over the hot tub but you couldn't stand up to use it as the water sprayed everywhere. The cottage is very dark inside with the dark wood panelling, which we understand is the look but it is a bit depressing as the sun only shown a little outside in the morning. There was no fridge and this wasn't apparent from the website. Luckily we had family staying in a bigger unit and they had a fridge - we also used their shower but not great if we had been there just us. Jenny did make a comment to us that she was surprised we were staying so long with no fridge but at no point did she email us about that and we booked months in advance...!What we couldn't believe - despite a pledge of sustainability was the use of one time plastic! Everything was throw away - utensils, cups for hot drinks, plates all the condiments...we were really shocked given California is supposed to be the forward thinking State! We started taking our mugs down from our cottages but even in the rooms there weren't glasses but plastic cups :(We thought it was expensive for what you got but maybe that's post Covid travel - Europe offers so much more value...

  : Very nice location not far away from activities on russian river and Armstrong woods. Excellent and memorable scones freshly baked every day by the Madame. Breakfast outside in the morning sun was a nice moment. The 2 room cabin 14 is quiet and well suited for 2 couples without children. Many thanks to Madame for the advices provided about activities and restaurants in the neighbourhood....even in french ;-)
  : The cabines were clean, nothing to say !....but definitively they need a refresh in paintings and floor material... Madame confirmed: the work will begin during winter.
