  : Stuff was very friendly, room was big and the decoration was nice. There was a big cupboard with a safe in it. Everything was modern decorated. Location was great, I could walk through the river to the university HAW.
  : There was unfortunately a construction and this was not clearly indicated during the booking process. Or it was written in a way that one could easily missed... I received an email prior to my stay but it was too late to re-arrange my stay on another hotel at that point. So it started to get noisy from 7am on, workers are working in front of the window. Pictures indicated balcony with a very nice view but what I received was a room blocked by the construction, no balcony or garden whatsoever. The receptionist informed me that this was clearly written in booking.com but I got the feeling that many people were complaining about the same issue and she was overwhelmed with the complains. So I just decided to settle with whatever is provided as I was there for work. There was no reception in the building, you needed to go to another building a couple of minutes by walk. The breakfast is also in that building, if you book one. Not in the Hotel Mare.
