  : The apartment/room was infested with flies it was disgusting they were everywhere. Everything was crawling with flies. It was unhealthy to stay there. Impossible to sleep or eat there. Bed was worn out mattress had sagged. Very poor outdated facilities it needs updating and a good clean. Several features listed eg microwave etc werent supplied.

  : A perfect Swiss Chalet experience. The location was very nice with a complete farm feel. The chalet was clean and comfortable.
  : Maybe it was the weather or the surroundings, but there were quite a few flies in the property.

  : There are too much fly and insects, which is normal as its a farm house. However, We found it bit uncomfortable.

  : This was my second visit to Eichhof and it did not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chalet is well equipped and comfortable. The rooms and bathroom are clean and tidy. The farm is spectacular with great views.
  : The place can have some flies which was a little irritating. Make sure to keep the door closed in the evenings.

  : A good budget place for 2-3 nights stay in the country side, a good base for exploring the mountains - about 45 min drive from Stechelberg and Grindenwald, 10min from Brienz.A restaurant on site with hearty Swiss food (rosti and desserts were delicious) at good prices where locals eat - it gets booked up so best to book on the weekend (you can have the food also in the apartment if it's full). The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We didn't try breakfast as the dinner plates were huge. The heaters were on when we arrived. A nice Jura coffee machine prefilled with beans.
  : No kettle but you can boil the water in a small pot. There were a couple of flies but it is to be expected as it is a farm with horses. Towels and bed linens could do with a change. It's not a city apartment so come with the right expectations.
