: The room and amenities were wonderful. There were lovely fresh cut flowers in the bedroom and living room on my arrival. I stayed during an extremely hot time of year but the overhead fan kept the bedroom very comfortable for sleeping. The Plantation House grounds were beautiful and the houses were set well back from the main road. I would definitely stay here again!
: Check in was after 4:00 and check out by 10:00. Would have liked to spend a little more time at the Plantation House.

: Location was peaceful and secluded yet a reasonable drive from the Kohala Coast beaches. The cottage (we actually stayed in the Romantic Cottage) was tastefully decorated, roomy, and a tad luxurious. Definitely made me want to hang around the hotel more than I usually do. Free vegan breakfast snacks were yummy and filling.
: My impression is that it rains a lot in Hawi, and it tends to be a bit chilly and windy, out there on the northern tip of the island. Not my favorite weather, but it worked out OK, as we could drive to the sunny beaches in 30 mins or so, and the cottage was a nice spot out of the rain.

: The breakfast was very tasty. I got to spend time with my daughters.
: The place was run over by ants and earwigs. The sofabed should have been removed it was that uncomfortable to use. Upon arrival checking out the cottage we found hair on the shower walls, mens underware and shorts hanging on the back of the bedroom door. The outdoor furniture was very dirty we had to wipe it down just to use it. There was'nt a back up generator when the whole town lost power. The pool furniture was soaking wet, very dirty and unuseable. For the money I paid a night I was very,very disappointed. I would not recommend this place. I am writing about the grounds,pool and cottage we stayed in,
