  : This is an amazing place. I run an arts center in the US and was intrigued that this remote arts center in Iceland also had a hostel and rooms to rent so we gave it a try. It's out toward the end of the beautiful Snfellsnes peninsula and national park. It was also less than 10 minutes away from the whale watching tour we took out of Olafsvik, which is not to be missed. We stayed in one of their rooms that had a full bed and bunkbeds and our own bathroom. It was really comfortable and there was a great common area with a bar and all kinds of board games. Our room was off the theater and that night locals were watching a football match between Iceland and the Ukraine; much to their chagrin, Iceland lost. If you're looking for a unique place to stay and you want to support the local arts scene, this is your place!
  : Nothing not to like really. If you're looking for luxury, this ain't it. But if you want to stay and support one of the coolest places in Iceland, stay here.

  : The staff was really nice and helpful ! The room itself was confortable. There were some nice common areas and a nice lounge where you could chill.
  : There was no one in the hostel when we were sleeping there, so it felt a bit uneasy. There was also no shampoo or shower gel in the room but I asked the staff and they gave me some so that was not a big issue. A bigger issue was the lack of free towels, which I understand for a hostel but as I booked a private room (and for the price !), I was expecting towels. There was also no restaurant open in a 30 kilometer radius, although that is not the fault of the hostel itself. All in all, the private room was expensive for what it was.

  : Very friendly staff. 2 X bathroom were clean.
  : Beds were very uncomfortable, mattress paper thin. Had to hold the button in for the shower to work, only 2 combined bathroom/shower in the venue so gets busy. Kitchen small. No activities until the busy season.
