  : Wasps everywhere. We rented 3-3 bedroom units. Wasps at all 3. The cold vs hot water was reversed on the washer. Yes, you can select hot if you want cold water wash, but the rinse cycle uses Hot. It was reported. We ended up switching the hoses ourselves. The air conditioner stopped working in one of the units. Maintenance did come within a reasonable amount of time, and repairs were made. The same unit that the A/C went out on, had a toilet issue. No stopped up, it was a problem with the insides that flush the toilet. They did come within an hour that it was reported and replaced the insides. 2 of our units were close together. The other was pretty far away. We used one of the units for our family meals. When the family went back to the condo that was far away, there was no parking. They ended up parking at the clubhouse and walking to their unit. The pool and clubhouse are not centrally located. 65 percent of the units occupants will be driving or walking along way to the pool. The did have nice charcoal grills. They had a shuttle to the beach for 15 people at a time. We had 22 people. That’s probably rare. They provided beach towels. You could rent beach chairs, umbrellas, wagons, beach sand toys for the kids, and boogie boards. The staff delivers them to the beach and then comes to your unit to pick them up. Rental prices were very reasonable.

  : Shuttle driver a bit questionable. Appeared to have difficulty seeing, drove in middle of Driesen Beach Park access road and stopped when oncoming cars were coming until they passed.

  : The unit was very nice and spacious. We spent a lot of time at the pools as they were just steps away. The location was great, just minutes away from shopping, theatres and other activities.

  : The staff at check in was very accommodating because we needed a unit on the ground floor for one of our family members. Their elevator was not working for the original unit we were supposed to have. We were pleased that they made the effort to make the change. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable with fresh bedding. We had plenty of towels including towels for the pool.The grounds of Island Links are beautiful and well maintained. We liked the pool--especially the smaller one where there was more shade and less activity. The Island Links was a quiet, relaxing place for the family.
  : The unit's dishwasher had been removed leaving a mess on the kitchen floor as well as water that was leaking under the sink. We cleaned up the dirt in the space where the dishwasher had been, mopped up the water and put a bowl under the drip to keep it from spilling out into the floor. We were only there for 3 days so we just reported the problem when we checked out. We didn't need the dishwasher so corrected the problem ourselves. Having someone come in to clean up the mess would have just been an invasion of our privacy during the short time we were there. This wouldn't be a problem for most guests. I don't think the staff realized there was a problem when they were trying to find us a ground floor unit.You have to drive to the beach or take their shuttle. It's a couple of miles away.
