  : We loved the little glass pots containing individual portions, the huge range of breakfast, the lovely decorations and relaxing atmosphere.
  : The female waitresses serving in the outside cafe were not very friendly they did seem very happy. We stayed four nights and the shower gel ran out after two nights. It was not replenished, fortunately we had our own supply.

  : Parking was ok but very limited spaces
  : Small room at back of property, we were facing the railway station so no view, so different from the beautiful pictures on your website. The receptionist on duty there was we surmised part of the family said he could move us the next day but as we were only there for 3 nights we couldn't face the upheaval. Apparantly they only had a few rooms with a shower so limited availability. I booked this property a few months ago & had to pay the full amount upfront and would lose our money if we left so really had no choice but to stay. Will not do this again. As for the room, it was small & the bathroom in need of updating. A crack in the sink! Radiator has stains at the bottom. The shower cubicle was very seventies. If you turned round in the shower the water tap was protruding & would close shut! The so called balcony was so small two chairs would have made it impossible to sit in comfort & a view of the station building & trains was not a view of the Black Forest I was hoping for. The first night we ate in the restuarant, the food was ok but the service was terrible, we stood waiting for a table for nearly 10 minutes and there was no one about, you had to ring a bell in reception for staff. We didn't eat there again. My husband went for breakfast and said it was ok but the last morning when he got down there, there was little to be had, no one to replenish anything and again no staff about. There was no feeling of being welcome, the village was very quiet. Would not recommend.
