  : It was spacious and close to the beach and stores. The decor was lovely and everything was clean. We loved the big kitchen and walk-in shower. The pool and back area were beautiful.
  : The air conditioning wasnt efficient. The kitchen could have been better equipped. The front door knob gave us some problemsyou had to lock it to keep the door closed. The porch that had been closed in as a fireplace room/entrance is a waste of space. It would have been better left as a porch. We were not satisfied with the rental company. My mother who suffers dementia and is memory care had escaped her facility and broken her sacrum. My dad, by the way, had also just passed away a month prior to our stay. We needed to vacate early to get back to my mom. Upon explaining this we were told, Sorry, you didnt purchase travel insurance so we cant give you a refund. It would have been compassionate and human to at least offer us some kind credit for future use, but no such offer was made. I hope they never suffer the tragedies my family has had to endure the past few months.

  : It is in the absolute perfect location! A short and easy walk down the street to an uncrowded stretch of Holmes Beach, and an equally short and easy walk to a string of shopping plazas with wonderful local shops and restaurants. (I highly recommend The Freckled Fin Irish Pub for food and Small Town Creamery for ice cream and fudge and other sweet treats!) We also loved the comfort of the home, with plush beds and an awesome master bathroom shower! To top it off, the private pool - which is not shared by anyone else - is extremely nice, especially in the evenings when the ample foliage creates a nice shade against the harsh Floridian sun.
  : A few minor maintenance issues (a frayed extension cord plugged in behind the bed, a wonky front door knob, an apparent short in the pool lighting causing it to blink on and immediately back off) detracted from an otherwise excellent rental home. These small issues were only really noticeable in contrast to the otherwise stellar accommodations.
