Located in the Novohradské Hory Natures Reserve Penzion Kaminek offers a volleyball field and a small concert stage. Free Wi-Fi is provided. All rooms feature a seating area a TV and a bathroom with a shower. A freshly prepared breakfast buffet is served daily and can also be consumed in the rooms.

: Kaminek is a really nice location slightly in the middle of nowhere. The whole setup is super cute, with nice surroundings. The room was excellent in size, clean, well maintained and great value for money. Having the option of a restaurant and breakfast at the place is great, because it's a bit of a way to the next possible locations to get a meal - but unfortunately not all is perfect in that regard, read on! Staff was friendly and there was usually someone around who could speak English.
: So what didn't we like? - The restaurant closes at 8! Like... what?? We spent the day out cycling and realized we would possibly make it back by 7:30. So... 8 pm is really too early! You can't even get a beer after 8. And mind you the next village is 7km away over a hill, by bike in the dark that's not something everybody would want to do. We made do... Instead of frequenting the restaurant we lugged our dinner 30km by bicyle over from the supermarket in Trebon and had a very romantic picnic in one of their outdoor huts. This was great and I'm not unhappy at all, but... 8pm! - The breakfast was rather..umm... basic! The biggest downside: NO REAL COFFEE! Come one, how hard is it to put up one of these big coffee machines that at least give you some filter coffee? Can't be that hard! Also, as usually, 3-4 types of cold cut sausage, only one type of very basic quite tasteless cheese. Not really good for vegetarians (even though there were other options like eggs, veggies, yoghurt). Vegans... will probably not be too happy, but I'm guessing it's commonly this way in Czechia. - The beds. Yes, we wanted a room with a "queen bed", and what was it? Two basic singles put together. So... there is always the gap. - As usually, the bathroom comes without surfaces to put even your toiletries on. It should be mandatory for hotel room designers to actually stay in their own rooms for a couple of days out of a suitcase. They would realize what's missing!
