  : Riverside location and window view, easy checkin.
  : - Heating did not work in room, though host said they've fixed the radiator, which was always cold through the night, seemed the temperature was controlled from the boiler to save bills perhaps.- Ambience is gloomy, dark and doesn't brighten mood while I was on holiday- Breakfast timing couldve been 3 hrs window starting 7.30am- Breakfast options couldve been better-Bed kept squeeking all night (sleeping alone on single bed).- No blinds installed in bathrooms even if the window glass was not see through however I felt like free shadow puppet show running for passerbys with light behind me no matter how much one tried to avoid it from happening l as one did private business and shower. The window is olden style hinged metal type which goes from top to bottom knee level. Only if windows were above shoulder height then it would give no concern. While Interlaken is a tourist spot the host must be well aware of privacy concerns of people visiting from different cultures having different values.- I paid much less to much modern hotel in Germany for similar feature room.- There were no side tables ao keeping watch, wallet and mobile phone was an issue with no charging points near the beds. The one near light switch was not even compalible with travellers adapter we carried and used in other european hotels. - Lino on walls and in shower wall replicating tiles was peeling off and clearly visible.- The hotel needs a revamp.

  : The location is just at the bottom of the valley in a nice quiet village. Giving access to Lauterbrunnen and beyond. Lovely breakfast and nice and quiet, with a beautiful wooden covered bridge outside.

  : Really nice place, surrounded by mountains, river and histirical buildings, Room was small but comfy, spring bed and orthopedic pillow was really nice surprise for me taking into account that I am having back pain problems time to time. Train station, restaurans and food stores are near within a short walk, you can take a walk down the river, to check other villages. I honestly don't understand people complaining on a pebly road, destroying their luggage wheels - you went out of your sterile concrete jungle to visit nature and historical villages and expecting everything here will be covered in asphalt for your convenience?
  : Although church bell didn't bothered me at all, since great amount of my childhood days spent on the coutryside, sleeping in the room with large wall clock in living room, which strikes every hour and it has never waken me up I got so used to it. These sounds were so familiar they took me back to my chlidhood countryside house back in the days when my granma was still alive. But I know there are many sensitive souls that will suffer a lot especially when this bell strike every 15 minutes so taking cheapest room with window facing directly to the church could not be the best option to them.Breakfast was ok, but without any hot food like scrambled egg or fried pork, I believe it was not the season as we were only 4 guests that day and 2 rooms booked. looks like they have decent kitchen so you can expect better menu when the tourism season starts.

  : Next to train station, quiet place, decent breakfast
  : Reception is only occupied 7am-11am, we arrived at 3pm and found our adapters dont fit in their socket (really narrow), called reception and found no one could help usour bodies feel itchy when sleeping into the bed (its not really clean). What is most terrible is that heating STOPS working in early morning for no reasonreally really cold when waking upWill NEVER come here again

  : This was a really old building with awesome character and charm. The room came with breakfast which was basic but lush (the bread was fresh and tasty). The room was very basic but had everything you need for a shot stay. We had a room facing the river which was a lovely view.
  : The posters all over the room with threats of expensive charges if damage to the room was made was a bit of a put off.
