  : Kind and helpful staff. 1.4k from the station and under 1k from the town centre.
  : It was a shame there was no breakfast available on the premises. They did direct me to the complimentary breakfast in the room fridge when asked. Not like having a choice though and overall it was not a very healthy breakfast. They were struggling to find a reliable chef.The beds were a bit soft for my bad back.

  : Location was perfect. Short walk to Castle and center. Bed was very comfortable too, and room/bathroom was very clean.
  : Bathroom shelf was falling down and useless. No other surfaces to use in bathroom which made it very awkward to use.

  : The location is good, around a 10 minute walk into the centre of Inverness in a quiet area. No breakfast chef currently, so a complimentary breakfast box was delivered to the room - although this didn't arrive on our final night. The bed was comfortable enough and a good, clean bathroom.
  : When we arrived we were left for 30 minutes with no sign of any staff members to welcome us. We did arrive early before the check in time but as we tried to call the hotel to try to get attention we found that we were actually calling the emergency number which should divert to the duty manager. We called this 3-4 times and left a message with no answer. Not sure what would have happened had there been a genuine emergency as this was also the emergency out of hours number. We were only greeted when the cleaning team were arriving to start their shift. They were very helpful, took our bags and then made sure that they were put into the room for us as soon as it had been cleaned. The room was a good size, the decor a little tired, the bed comfortable enough but on pulling back the covers there was a stain on the sheet and what looked like dog hairs on the sheet and pillows. When we were going back out again there was no staff at reception to be able to tell. The next day when leaving we were asked if we would like our room servicing, we asked for the bed to be changed and fresh towels. The bed was changed but no fresh towels. In terms of facilities the advertised bar was closed at all times and staff were not always available. The front door to the hotel is left unlocked at all times and reception not always attended. Procedure is to leave room keys and a note on the reception desk for anybody arriving when no staff available (as long as it is after check in time). Had we paid the usual rate for this room we probably wouldn't have been too disappointed but as we were there over the marathon weekend we paid a massively inflated rate.The owners of the hotel clearly offered the staff no options to be able to deliver a standard that would be expected for the rate that we paid, it felt like the staff were trying but with very little resource.

  : Everything was good. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower/bathroom, reasonably priced for Inverness.

  : Love the ease of parking. No staff were on site, but thankfully our check in instructions and key were on the counter so no issues.
